Gov. Cooper Offers Reward in Missing Person’s Case in Halifax County

<p>Governor Roy Cooper today announced that the State of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Amy Wells Bridgeman.</p>

Governor Roy Cooper today announced that the State of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Amy Wells Bridgeman.

Amy Wells Bridgeman, age 42 when reported missing, was last seen on June 24, 2013 at a residence in the South Weldon area in Halifax County. Ms. Bridgeman left the residence, leaving her purse behind. Her husband received a text from her on June 28, 2013 and she has not been seen or heard from since. On June 29, 2013, Ms. Bridgeman was reported missing by her husband.
