Governor Cooper Offers Reward in Drive-By Shooting in Durham County

<p>Governor Roy Cooper today announced that the State of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a drive-by shooting into an occupied dwelling on Forrester Street in Durham.&nbsp;</p>

Governor Roy Cooper today announced that the State of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a drive-by shooting into an occupied dwelling on Forrester Street in Durham.

On the evening of February 12, 2016, Dorothy Holloway, age 72, was shot in a drive-by shooting while in her home on Forrester Street in Durham. Ms. Holloway suffered significant injuries from the shooting, which resulted in her having one leg amputated. It is believed that Ms. Holloway was not the intended victim in this shooting.
