Working Group #3 of The Task Force for Racial Equity in Criminal Justice will hold a meeting on Wednesday August 19th, at 4:00pm. Working Group #3 explores:
1. Pre-trial release and bail practices
2. Charging decisions
3. Juvenile Justice system issues/school to prison pipeline
4. Racial equity training for court system personnel including
Judges, DA’s and Public Defenders
5. Decriminalization or lessening of criminal penalties
The working group will develop recommendations to present to the Task Force.
