Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced Lee Lilley joins his Administration as the new Director of Legislative Affairs.

Lilley, former legislative director for Congressman G.K. Butterfield, leaves his post at McGuire Woods Consulting. He is a native of Williamston. Lilley replaces Brad Adcock, who returned to retirement. Lilley will receive an annual salary of $128,000.

“I am deeply grateful to Brad for his work guiding my Administration through its first year,” Gov. Cooper said. “His experience has been invaluable, and I wish him well in his second retirement. Lee has a depth of experience with the legislative process and I’m happy to welcome him to our team.”
