Gov. Cooper Shares Statement on Ft. Bragg Training Incident

RALEIGH: Governor Roy Cooper today shared a statement on the training incident at Fort Bragg:

“Our hearts are heavy with the news of the training accident and loss of life at Fort Bragg. We are grateful for the selfless service of members of our military and their families, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy.”

In tribute, Governor Cooper today ordered all U.S. and North Carolina flags be flown at half-staff at state facilities. A flag alert was issued through the N.C. Department of Administration.
