Governor Cooper Offers Reward in Murder in Wayne County

Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Floyd Anthony “Andy” Evans, 65 years old.

On June 16, 2018, Floyd Anthony “Andy” Evans was found dead in a garage located on Evans Farm Road in Fremont, North Carolina. Upon arrival, Wayne County Deputies discovered Mr. Evans deceased, with a gunshot wound to the head.
