Governor Roy Cooper released a new video and Medium post today on his first 100 days in office.

Since January 1, our administration has announced more than 1,400 jobs that will bring new opportunities to communities across the state. We’ve requested federal funding to help North Carolinians whose lives were upended by Hurricane Matthew. We’ve also rolled out a budget proposal that puts common ground solutions front and center, including plans to make meaningful, lasting investments in education, infrastructure, and economic development.
We also reached a compromise to repeal HB2. The result was far from perfect, but it removes this harmful, discriminatory law from our books, opens the door to new protections, and curbs the damage done to our economy. As we move forward, I’m going to keep fighting for statewide antidiscrimination protections for LGBT North Carolinians.
