On Friday, Governor Cooper took action on four bills that were passed by the General Assembly and brought to his desk for approval.

Gov. Cooper shared the following statement on his veto of Senate Bill 486: Continued election meddling for partisan advantage weakens public confidence. Judges’ races should be free of partisan labels.
Gov. Cooper shared the following statement on his veto of Senate Bill 757: The legislative attempts to rig the courts by reducing the people's vote hurts justice. Piecemeal attempts to target judges create unnecessary confusion and show contempt for North Carolina’s judiciary.
Governor Cooper has signed into law the following bills:
- House Bill 414: Official Fly Fishing Museum/ Outdoor Festival
- Senate Bill 462: Change Name of UNC General Administration
