Governor Offers Reward in Murder in Franklin County

<p>Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Devin Cristofer Bilodeau, age 21.</p>

Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Devin Cristofer Bilodeau, age 21.

On Saturday, September 23, 2017, Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence located at 26 Amandas Way in Youngsville.  Upon arrival deputies discovered the unresponsive body of Devin Cristofer Bilodeau.  Mr. Bilodeau was at the residence with other individuals when two unknown males entered and held all the occupants at gunpoint.  During the incident, Mr. Bilodeau was shot and died at the scene.
