Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Kevin Antonio Calderon Rodas, age 7, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On September 5, 2015, at approximately 8:51 p.m., Kevin Antonio Calderon Rodas, was attending a children’s birthday party at Fieldvale Place in Charlotte, North Carolina. He and other children were outside breaking a pinata and picking up candy when gunfire rang out. Kevin died from his injuries. Two adult men and a 5-year-old girl were also shot. Their injuries were not life threatening.
