Governor Offers Reward in Shooting in Robeson County

<p>Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting and attempted carjacking of Ms. Robie Hunt, 49 years old.</p>

Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting and attempted carjacking of Ms. Robie Hunt, 49 years old.

On December 2, 2015, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Ms. Hunt was driving her vehicle in the vicinity of 103 East 24th Street toward Biggs Park Mall in Lumberton, when an unknown person attempted to carjack her as she drove past the alley area where the suspect was hiding. Ms. Hunt was shot several times and sustained permanent and disabling injuries.
