Governor Cooper Vetoes One Bill

Today, Governor Roy Cooper vetoed the following bill:

• Senate Bill 360: Prohibit Collusive Settlements by the AG.

Governor Cooper made the following statement on SB 360:

“This bill is unconstitutional and unwise, and would prevent the Attorney General from doing his job to protect the people of North Carolina.”
