Ventura Coach Corp and a related company, Absolute Bus, will create 61 new jobs with an expansion in Robeson County, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The manufacturer of commercial shuttle buses plans to invest $2 million for an upgrade of its facilities in Lumberton.

HPFABRICS, Inc., a manufacturer of raw fabrics, has selected Forsyth County for a new production and product development facility, creating 260 jobs over three years, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company plans to invest $1.1 million over the next 2 years in a plant in Winston-Salem that formerly housed Microfibres, a company no longer operating in the city.

Adhezion Biomedical, LLC, a research and manufacturing company offering medical adhesive products, will create 40 jobs over the next four years as it expands its facility in Caldwell County, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company plans to invest $3.5 million in Hudson over this period of time.

Borealis Compounds, Inc., a supplier of plastic materials to the automotive industry, will locate a new production facility in Alexander County, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company plans to initially invest $15 million in the new plant and create 37 jobs in Taylorsville. 

Credit Suisse will expand its Research Triangle Park campus operations, creating 1,200 new jobs in North Carolina over the next several years, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company plans to invest $70.5 million at its current campus in RTP to accommodate this expansion.

AXA, among the largest financial protection companies in the U.S. with approximately 2.5 million client households nationwide, is expanding its Mecklenburg County operations and will add 550 new jobs over the next five years, Governor Roy Cooper announced today.

Weitron, Inc., a packager and distributor of refrigerant gases, has selected Martin County for a new production facility, creating 31 jobs, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company plans to invest $12.8 million in a plant in Everetts.

Trilliant Networks will establish its global headquarters in the Research Triangle Area, creating 130 jobs over the next five years, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The smart grid software and communications company will invest $1.8 million at its current offices in Cary to accommodate for this expansion of corporate operations.

International automotive supplier Continental will launch a major expansion of its manufacturing facility in Burke County, creating 160 new jobs over the next five years. The company will invest more than $40 million at its Morganton operations.
