Today, Gov. Roy Cooper announced that nearly $20 million in Clean Water Management Trust Fund grants have been awarded to help fund 50 projects that will conserve lands and protect waterways serving millions of North Carolinians. 

NN, Inc. will move its headquarters to North Carolina, creating 200 jobs over five years, Governor Roy Cooper announced today.  The global diversified industrial company will invest $10 million to open its headquarters in Mecklenburg County and bring executive management and other core functions to North Carolina.

A Henderson County medical examiner has determined that an Edneyville man died Tuesday from carbon monoxide poisoning. The man was using a generator to power his home after severe weather knocked out electricity in the area. Local authorities have not yet released the victim’s name.

Small businesses and workers in areas impacted by Hurricane Matthew will get more help to recover thanks to two programs, Governor Roy Cooper announced today.
