RALEIGH: Early childhood experts and leaders from across the state this week wrote to members of the North Carolina General Assembly to urge them to support Medicaid expansion to help young children and families.

Communities across North Carolina from Sylva to Elizabeth City will get $127 million in loans and grants to help pay for 96 critical drinking water and wastewater projects statewide, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. 

Governor Cooper today issued Executive Order No. 91 to increase internet access across North Carolina including through a new Governor’s Task Force on Connecting North Carolina.
