A Proclamation
Whereas, the people of North Carolina are concerned with health care quality, cost, access, and safety; and
Whereas, improved health care outcomes result in better quality of life and decreased health care costs, which ultimately will benefit the residents of North Carolina; and
Whereas, health care quality professionals make a positive contribution to improved health care quality by educating, monitoring processes and outcomes, analyzing data to facilitate improved systems, helping to integrate new evidence based practices, maintaining high ethical standards, and leading continual improvement initiatives in the varied health care organizations providing service to the residents of North Carolina; and
Whereas, the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and safe health care to its residents is important to the State of North Carolina; and
Whereas, health care quality professionals across North Carolina have demonstrated a commitment to these goals in their work across the health care delivery system;
Now, Therefore, I, Josh Stein, Governor of the State of North Carolina, do hereby proclaim October 19 – 25, 2025, as “Health Care Quality Week” in North Carolina and commend its observance to all citizens.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Great Seal of the State of North Carolina at the Capitol in Raleigh this twenty-third day of September in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-fifth and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and fiftieth.
