Governor Offers Reward for Information on Guilford County Murder

Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Leon Williams, age 30.

Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Leon Williams, age 30.

On October 27, 2020, at 7:12 p.m., officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to a shooting in the 500 block of Andrew Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Williams was located suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Williams later died from the injuries sustained in the shooting.
