Today Governor Josh Stein announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Jacqueline Rene Thompson, age 47.
On September 19, 2017, Thompson arrived at Moses Cone Hospital with a gunshot wound. She later died from her injuries, and her death has been investigated as a homicide. Police have determined that the shooting occurred inside a home in the 600 block of East Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro.
