These donations follow last week’s announcement that the State of North Carolina and other partners would grant $18 million to fight hunger across the state.

Today Governor Josh Stein announced a $50 million Broadband Recovery Program that will provide grants to help internet service providers rebuild and repair broadband infrastructure destroyed by Hurricane Helene. Impacted internet service providers are invited to apply for funding.
This week, Governor Josh Stein led a 51-person delegation to the Southeast United States (SEUS)/Japan Annual Joint Meeting in Tokyo, Japan, reaffirming North Carolina’s strong partnership with Japan and furthering the work to recruit more good-paying jobs to the state.
