Today Governor Josh Stein released the following statement reflecting on the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. “On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives who were killed that day, hundreds of first responders who died because of their heroic efforts, and countless others whose lives were forever changed. Just as much as the horrific images from that day are seared in our minds, so are the heroes who responded.

Today Governor Josh Stein announced SteelFab, Inc., a steel fabrication company, will add 38 new jobs in Cumberland County. Today Governor Josh Stein hosted a roundtable with pre-service, student, and beginning teachers at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Education to highlight recent investments to recruit, support, and retain excellent teachers. During his visit, Governor Stein toured the school’s American Sign Language Lab, Student Educator Learning Factory (SELF) Design Studio, and Teaching Resources Center.
