Today Governor Josh Stein announced Linde Inc., an industrial gases and engineering company, will create 20 new jobs in Northampton County. The jobs are part of an investment of more than $75 million to build an air separation facility in Garysburg.

Today Governor Josh Stein joined the groundbreaking ceremony for AdventHealth Weaverville's new hospital. The new hospital will create 1,300 jobs and make health care more affordable and accessible for people in Madison and Yancey Counties.
Today Governor Josh Stein announced that Capital Group, one of the world’s largest and most experienced active asset managers, will establish a major East Coast operations hub in Charlotte.“We’re excited that Charlotte’s reputation as one of the nation’s top banking centers has attracted Capital Group to establish its East Coast hub here,” said Governor Stein. “North Carolina offers a talent pool that’s especially well suited to helping financial services companies like the Capital Group succeed in our state.”

The Governor and cabinet secretaries are embarking on this Rural Listening Tour to hear directly from rural North Carolinians about their concerns and priorities as his administration works to expand opportunity in every corner of the state.
