Today Governor Josh Stein announced Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc., a supplier of commercial HVAC systems and products, will create 131 jobs in Guilford County. The company will invest $40 million to expand its corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations in the city of Greensboro.
Today Governor Josh Stein’s Council on Workforce and Apprenticeships released a report identifying 30 strategies designed to advance North Carolina’s workforce and expand access to good jobs with good wages. Today Governor Josh Stein joined Pennsylvania Transformer Technology, LLC (PTT) leaders, state and local officials, and clean energy partners to break ground on the company’s expanded manufacturing facilities in Raeford. The domestic manufacturer of power and distribution transformers will invest more than $102.5 million and bring 217 more jobs to Hoke County.

Governor Josh Stein today announced that the Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) has approved 15 grant requests for local governments totaling $5,042,113. The grants include commitments to creating a total of 702 jobs, 386 of which were previously announced. The public investment in these projects is expected to attract more than $104 million in private sector investment.
