Today Governor Josh Stein and N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Paul Tine celebrated the opening of a new driver license office in Brunswick County. This location will serve as a temporary office while a permanent office is constructed in Leland, and it is the second of four new DMV offices opening as a result of House Bill 125, which the Governor signed into law in August. On the heels of the largest jobs commitment in North Carolina’s history, Governor Josh Stein, North Carolina Department of Commerce Secretary Lee Lilley, and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina traveled to Paris to advocate for North Carolina with business leaders at the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show.
