Today Governor Josh Stein and First Lady Anna Stein hosted a Friendsgiving for servicemembers stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro. The Governor and First Lady served meals at the base before sitting down with the airmen for lunch. Seymour Johnson is home to the 4th Fighter Wing, one of the most distinguished fighter units in the world.

This week, Governor Josh Stein and the North Carolina Department of Commerce announced seven new economic development projects that will bring more than 3,400 jobs and invest more than $1.8 billion in North Carolina. Governor Josh Stein today announced that Novartis, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative medicines, will expand its pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in North Carolina. The company says it expects to create 700 new jobs by the end of 2030 in Durham and Wake counties, while investing $771 million in the City of Durham and Town of Morrisville.
