Amrep Manufacturing Company, a producer of waste collection trucks, will expand its operations, adding 170 jobs and investing more than $21 million in Rowan County, Governor Cooper announced today.“Amrep Manufacturing’s expansion in Rowan County validates our efforts to support home grown manufacturers, including a great quality of life, an ideal location, and a diverse, skilled workforce,” said Governor Cooper.

J&L Machine and Fabrication, a steel fabrication and machining provider, will create 33 new jobs in Gaston County, Governor Cooper announced today. The company will invest more than $2.1 million to expand its production capacity in the Town of Stanley.
Retailer, Ross Stores, Inc. (“Ross”) will create 852 jobs in Randolph County, Governor Cooper announced today. Today, Governor Cooper met with business leaders in France as part of an economic development trip, including Schneider Electric. The Governor discussed investment opportunities and job creation in North Carolina.
Governor Cooper and a delegation of state officials will travel to Europe on an economic development trip from May 24-31. The company will invest $140 million in the community of Denver, North Carolina.
Crystal Window & Door Systems, a leading manufacturer of replacement and new construction windows will locate a manufacturing center in Johnston County, creating 501 jobs, Governor Roy Cooper announced today.
