Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced two appointments to the North Carolina District Court.“Both of these appointees bring a wealth of legal experience to the bench and will make excellent judges in their respective districts,” said Governor Cooper. “I’m grateful for their dedication to the people of North Carolina and their willingness to serve our state in these new roles.”

Today, Governor Roy Cooper highlighted investments in clean water infrastructure at a water reclamation facility in Clayton. The Governor was joined by N.C. Department of Environmental Quality Secretary Elizabeth Biser, Clayton Mayor Jody McLeod and other officials as he toured the Sam's Branch Water Reclamation Facility project site. The Sam's Branch Water Reclamation Facility project is partially funded by the Biden-Harris Administration’s American Rescue Plan Act, receiving $37.9 million in ARPA funds.

Governor Roy Cooper announced today that Attindas Hygiene Partners, a manufacturer of disposable adult incontinence, baby care products, and clinical products, will add 25 new jobs in Pitt County. The company will expand its Greenville operation with an investment of $25.2 million.
