Today Governor Josh Stein announced SteelFab, Inc., a steel fabrication company, will add 38 new jobs in Cumberland County. Today Governor Josh Stein hosted a roundtable with pre-service, student, and beginning teachers at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Education to highlight recent investments to recruit, support, and retain excellent teachers. During his visit, Governor Stein toured the school’s American Sign Language Lab, Student Educator Learning Factory (SELF) Design Studio, and Teaching Resources Center.

(RALEIGH) Today Governor Stein announced that the North Carolina Department of Commerce, on behalf of the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology & Innovation, has awarded 50 grants to 46 North Carolina-based small businesses to develop and commercialize innovative new technologies. Today Governor Josh Stein announced more than $9.8 million in grants to fund 25 local parks and recreation projects across the state through the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF).
