Today, Governor Josh Stein, North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) Secretary Pam Cashwell, and North Carolina Department of Enviornmental Quality (DEQ) Secretary Reid Wilson celebrated Earth Day at Eno River State Park in Durham. Governor Stein toured the park with Eno River Superintendent Kimberly Radewicz and spoke with park rangers to learn about the park’s economic and cultural impact.
Today, the African American Heritage Commission and the Legislative Black Caucus joined Governor Josh Stein in celebrating Black entrepreneurs at a Black History Month reception.
Over the weekend, Governor Josh Stein traveled to western North Carolina for a weekend of service in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy of service. The weekend culminated Tuesday with Governor Stein welcoming his entire Cabinet out west, where each Secretary completed a service project in 12 different counties across the region.
