North Carolina Department of Adult Correction Secretary Leslie Cooley Dismukes announced First Lady Anna Stein’s appointment to the North Carolina Joint Reentry Council. The Joint Reentry Council coordinates efforts to improve the rehabilitation and reentry of people returning to their communities after serving a sentence in prison or jail.

Governor Josh Stein today reopened Chimney Rock State Park and announced “Rediscover the Unforgettable,” a new tourism initiative to bring more visitors back to western North Carolina.
