Governor Roy Cooper and First Lady Kristin Cooper will travel to Washington, D.C. to attend a White House State Dinner on Wednesday night honoring America’s relationship with Japan. President Biden will host Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio and his wife Kishida Yuko, along with other members of the Japanese delegation. Following the State Dinner, Prime Minister and Mrs.

Gov. Cooper has appointed the following individual to the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners:
This week, Governor Roy Cooper and First Lady Kristin Cooper will host a historic visit from Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio and his wife Mrs. Kishida Yuko. The visit will feature a State Lunch at the Executive Mansion, visits to major Japanese employers in North Carolina and other sites. The State is working to put its best foot forward for the visit, including participation from noted North Carolina chefs and musicians.
Today, Governor Cooper announced two judicial appointments to the North Carolina Superior Court.
“Judge Tessa Sellers and Gus Willis bring a variety of legal expertise to the Superior Court and they both have served North Carolina and their communities with distinction for many years,” said Governor Cooper. “I appreciate their willingness to step up and keep working for the people of our state in these new roles.”
Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced one judicial appointment to the Superior Court and one District Attorney appointment.
“Both Jason Ramey and Katy Gregg bring extensive legal experience to their new positions and have served North Carolina well over the years,” said Governor Cooper. “I am thankful for their willingness to step up and continue serving their communities and our state in these new roles.”
