Today Governor Josh Stein released the following statement on the U.S. House’s passage of the Senate reconciliation bill:  
Today Governor Stein signed eight bills into law and vetoed four bills.  Governor Stein made the following statement on his vetoes of Senate Bill 558, Senate Bill 227, House Bill 171, and House Bill 805:  
Today Governor Josh Stein joined educators, advocates, and State Employees Credit Union (SECU) members to kick off the annual Governor’s School Supply Drive. The Governor also made a donation of a box of binders, a calculator, a set of sticky notes, and a box of Kleenex to the supply drive. 
Today Governor Stein signed seven bills and vetoed three bills. Governor Stein made the following statement on his veto of Senate Bill 266: 
Today Governor Josh Stein urged North Carolina’s US House delegation to vote against the Senate budget reconciliation bill. 
Today Governor Josh Stein announced the following appointments to the District Court:Caroline F. Quinn to the District Court for Judicial District 8, serving Edgecombe, Nash, and Wilson Counties. Quinn is filling the vacancy created after the Honorable William “Bill” Farris retired.
Today Governor Stein signed 15 bills into law.  Governor Stein made the following statement on signing Senate Bill 124:
Today Governor Josh Stein announced Jabil Inc., a leader in engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions, expects to create 1,181 new jobs in Rowan County. The company says it will invest approximately $500 million over several years to establish a manufacturing facility to support cloud and AI data center customers.
Today Governor Josh Stein inducted 10 North Carolinians into the Order of the Long Leaf Pine for their contributions to the state. “These North Carolinians represent the best our state has to offer through their lifetimes of service,” said Governor Josh Stein. “I am proud to honor them for their contributions and willingness to help their neighbors.”The Order of the Long Leaf Pine honorees are as follows:
