Governor Roy Cooper today announced nominees to three state boards and commissions, the North Carolina Utilities Commission, the State Board of Education, and the North Carolina Employment Security Board of Review.

Today, Governor Cooper returned to UNC-Charlotte after speaking to the Rally for Respect in Raleigh. He brought the message from North Carolina teachers that they stand with the UNC-Charlotte community and are supporting and praying for them.

Gov. Roy Cooper today received from the U.S. Small Business Administration a disaster declaration for business owners in Durham County that suffered damages following the April 10, 2019 gas leak that led to a deadly explosion in the downtown area. 
 

Twenty-four innovative small companies across North Carolina will get grants to develop new products, hire more employees, and purchase needed materials, Governor Roy Cooper announced today.
